There were a bunch of MX-6707 masts made up for the Stephen King movie
"Dreamcatcher" which were mast top sections fitted with a custom bottom
piece which would allow threading onto the MX-6707, but were created for
looks alone. Could be a couple of these got out into the marketplace, but
it'd be a bit of a stretch.

As Muttguru said, lots of folks use the top section of the mast with the
AB-15 base for their auxiliary receivers, but transmitting through it
wouldn't be a great plan as the VSWR would be up around...12. :)
