Guys... What the Army does now..and is a very accepted method..is this...
The "cap" is removed from the air filter... Then a rag is saturated with
gasoline...and placed in front of this air intake... The engine is
cranked..and will start. There are enough vapors to fir eup the diesel...
Do not pour gasoline into the filter - the filter will catch fire !!!
This works..and is the accepted means of starting a stubborn vehicle on Fort
Carson in the Winter....and...we "do" get a winter here.!!!
