He basically stated that the show was terrible just because his vendor wasn't there........
Should I cradle him in my arms and tell him things will get better?..........
Hey, I don't think Richard needs this..........he just was disappointed that his vendor was not waiting for him..........a little "tough Love" might help him see that branding the entire show as bad just because of one vendor disappointed him is wrong. I'm sure that Richard is tough enough to take some constructive criticism.

Where was your vehicle? Do you think that Pat Lombardi just drove his M-114 over there? Do you think that it was that easy? Sven Johnson brought his half track on the back of his WW II Marmon Herrington cab over all the way to Gilbert from New Jersey. Bob Rubino brought his award winning M-29 Weasel in the back of his CCKW............
"A typical US show?" What the hell do you mean? Last year we had about 50 to 60 military vehicles
(or more) there...........
Oh yes, I've been to the shows in the UK, France, Belgium and other shows...........and yes, Beltring is bigger.......

No, you should read his post again.............he berates the show just because his vendor left before he got there.........that's no reason to bad mouth the vendors that did indeed stay.....Hell, Elder Santos was in a wheel chair from his stroke and he braved the weather to set up and sell some of his MV "treasures".......

Oh , I'm sorry........I guess we (the Red Ball military Transport) should have prayed to God that he might grant us good weather for our show...............I think he might be a bit too busy watching over our servicemen in Iraq or Afghanistan to bother with our little problems....

Or maybe it's that I speak the truth........and stick up for those of us that were there, those who brought their vehicles even though a Hurricane was predicted...........who left their vehicles out in the torrential rains........just so those that did brave the weather would have something to see.........and buy....People like Pat Lombardi (M-114), Tom McHugh (m-38A1), Vinnie 5 ton wrecker), Jim Siglin (CCKW, WC 12 , MB), Eric Kalsako (CCKW), Shawn Kling (CCKW) , Bob Rubino (CCKW, M-29), Sven Johnson (Diamond T wrecker, Marmon Herrington cab over w/trailer, !/2 track, WC-18 ambulance) George Caron (M-37, M-38) , John Smachagsh (Indian 741, Weldbike, 1941 Zundapp) , John Headley (3/4 ton Dodge carryall, 3/4 ton command car and many, many,more that I can't name right now............
Those are "the people"........those are the ones that I stick up for............
So If you weren't there.........quit your whining..............
