I need help from the members of the list

I am finnishing up the restoration of my WW2 Chevy G-506 Fire truck

On one side is a 2 door compartment which has the round exterior latch
with the fold over type D-ring for a handle. This is the type you turn
the D-Ring 90 degrees and the latches on top and bottom move to open 1
door. This is the same type of ring used on current Ambulances, Fire
Apparatus, Contractor rigs with external compartments, etc.

So what I am looking for is a replacement D-ring with the square shaft
that goes through the door. Would like the D-ring to be the locking style.

I have "googled" this but can not find what I am looking for. Anyone
know of any sources.

Thanks in advance.

Bill
