Yes. That whole email is full of some really interesting/useful CUCV
information/tips, though I can't say I personally panicked much over having
the correct tail-light screws <very big grin>. Lots of research went into
that lot.

Seems that when they went to replace the dashboards from GM, the only colour
available was a sort of lightish grey. In the CUCVs I've seen come out of
Can Point and in various GL and GSA sales, it seems you'll either have lousy
dashboards, dashboards that aren't there at all, or the replacement grey
dashboards. Looks like there's at least one more option out there too, as
one of the M1009s at work is ex-USAF and has this black, hard-type vinyl
form-fit cover for its dashboard which actually fits properly and looks
halfway decent too. I've not seen that type of solution advertised anywhere
in Greater Automotiveland, so I'm wondering if it was something that was in
the military system at some point during the CUCV's service life.
