Dipping is often a problem because unless you
really get the corrosive agent out of the little
folds, they can work against you in the long run.
I'd go on what us usable on aircraft or use an
aircraft type stop rust/sealer as those fragile
things have spots that can't be gotten to but
with a liquid.
