Why?

Originally, my CCKW had holes from prevoius owner in the edge of the front
fender
Those holes eventually rotted out the front fender.

I tried very hard to get the TX law passed in NH pre-911 and the Dept of
Safety official
refused to even look into the issue for the state legislature and he stated
that at the hearing!
Had I been a legislator, I would
have called his boss in for a drumming over that atitude! Legislature works
for me, he works
for them, get it? (but I digress)

All my HMVs are now having their plates wired to the front and rear axles. I
absolutely refuse
to drill holes. I did take pictures of the rotted fender for future use if
necessary.

If it was a one of a kind antique car, would they require me to drill
holes...?

The TX law BTW is in place in TX, OK and Indiana
