Mabe I don't understand. I thought I go get my FFL 'license/tax'
for that beast, and contract with a machine gun dealer to import
it and deliver it to me here in goode ol' Texas.

Their page says this:

A.T.F. approved Form 6 with all its associated documentation:
authorization to deal in NFA transferable firearms already within
the U.S. is not the same as being cleared to import “post ‘86”
automatic weapons.

What does this really mean? Can these not be imported ?
