Of course there was a 8.8cm PAK as well, but the
Flak's were the more common threat for quite a
while. Many reports of Tiger's were often later
found to be Pz Mk IV Specials with the spaced
armor around the turret. The long 7.5cm PAK (L70)
had more armor penetration capabilities than the
dreaded 8.8.

PzGr 40 ammo:
100 meters @ 30 °
7.5cm Pak/Kwk L70 - 194mm
8.8cm Flak/Kwk L56 - 170mm

500 meters @ 30°
7.5cm Pak/Kwk L70 - 174mm
8.8cm Flak/Kwk L56 - 155mm

1000 meters @ 30°
7.5cm Pak/Kwk L70 - 150mm
8.8cm Flak/Kwk L56 - 138mm
