ACU = Advanced Combat Uniform
This is the new universal uniform for the US Army starting to be issued
this year in volume. It is designed to fully replace all previous DCU
(Desert Combat Uniform) and m/81 Woodland items. It is a digital pattern
similar to USMC's MARPAT but with washed out colors that makes it look
somewhat in between the two MARPAT uniforms. The new ACU is a completely
new uniform design as well as new pattern.
