Steve....

You are correct....it was Andrew....my sis lived in Miami at the time and
aside from police...there was not much of any aid until the Army moved
down from the north with fiels kitchens and shelters....

When they did, they had control of the hiways leading to the stricken area.

She said you could see MVs lined up for miles to the north...
