No. I am a business man. I did not initiate this transaction. I fully intend
to sell him parts, as soon as I am convinced that his credit card payment
will stand the test. I will not debit his account. I will, however, check to
see if the card is valid, and not stolen or missing.

Thanks for you concern. Perhaps you are thinking that if I act this way
towards a crook, how will I act towards my real customers. That is a
reasonable question, asked by a reasonable person. The answer is: ask my
hundreds of customers how I have treated them.

I am not worried about breaking a law (assuming that one is about to be
broken) to catch a crook, or at least humiliate him. It is a case of "lesser
of two evils".
These people need to be taught a lesson. Their government, and your
government, are not interested in catching and punishing them. They,
collectively, have ripped off Americans to the tune of MILLIONS of dollars.

Let me ask you, in turn, a question.

You go into a bank, intending to deposit a bogus check. You convince the
teller of its authenticity. He credits your account. Later, the bank
discovers that your check was bogus. Has the teller committed a crime?

There is 100% probability that this asshole is a crook. I quoted prices for
items that he does not have any knowlege of, nor their value. He jumped at
the chance to buy these things, and did not even tell me what quantity, what
application, what size, etc. How he decided to use "main bearings" is beyond
my comprehension.

He has now transmitted to me, via email, the card numbers, and the name
associated with them (plural) and the 3-digit code. I am keeping them
confidential, of course.

My next step is to contact the FBI and Master Card company. The ball is in
their court. Do you think that I , and by extension, YOU, as a citizen, will
get satisfaction? Ha.

I will take my chances in front of a judge. It's called testicles, my
friend.

Haven't you committed a crime yourself if you actually run his CC # with no
intention of sending him the parts? There is a one in a million chance he
actually wants the parts and it is a legal CC. Telling the judge it was all
fun and games will be a poor defense.

My guess is that it won't come to that. I donā?Tt think he really wants the
parts. Somehow he is going to want some money from you to make the deal go
through. Maybe a customs fee or a bribe for his government.

I intend to accept the CC # and then run it in my machine.

I then will ask for a fax number that I can send the ticket to, for his
signature.

This will let me see exactly where this bozo is located, assuming he falls
for the ruse.

(If he is indeed in the states, he can be found, eventually. Some of these
scumbags operate with an accomplice in the US. The accomplices often
actually show up to intimidate the mark. He is more than welcome to come see
my various collections. Perhaps he can assist me, down-range, in
sighting-in a new rifle I got from Santa Claus.)

I then, and only then, will fullfil my business obligation as an honest
God-fearing American businessman, and send him a sample of Mrs. Bloom's
daily kitchen garbage collection, and a small offering from Miss Dog,
securely packaged, and hermetically sealed. I will enclose my photo, in
uniform, pointing my Glock Model 19 at the camera, ala "Uncle Sam Wants
You". Nothing that I do will stop him, but I may get him to soil himself.

Then I will notify a friend at FBI, who will notify Interpol, and they can
have him, (or not).
