silicone as gasket

Hey Caleb, I learned the hard way on this! I almost NEVER figured out
why my M37 would run for 30 minutes and then cut off. It wouldn't start
up again until it had "rested" a while. Turns out, upon examining the
gas tank, the silicone that I had used as a "gasket" on the gas tank
cover had dissolved and sucked up the gas intake into the gas line.

Funny thing was, when I pulled the cover and lifted it off the tank, the
dissolved gasket looked like an honest go goodnes live wiggling snake
attached to the end of the pickup tube.. Scared the crap out of me!!
I haven't used silicone where it'll come in contact with gas since.
