A couple years ago I picked up a Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton. Hood number 372745.
4" numbers were painted over 2" U.S.A. above numbers. It was pretty
much striped,
no front end, rear end, or transfer case. And no data plates.
Other than a data plate is the serial number anywhere on the
vehicle? Stamped into the frame? From the hood number what year was it
made?
This truck was only painted once. The stars on the doors are only
rusted metal
along with a strip running across the top point of the star and another
running across
the top of the lower two points. Both doors are the same.
Was anything ever written across the stars?
An earlier post mentioned used 9.00x20 tires. How much tread left? Cracks?
Have you ever shipped UPS and have an idea if they will ship? and how much?
