If you post the VIN, I can give you a general idea when and who made the
truck. If is a Kaiser, the VIN will have a prefix from 125- to 525-. If it
is a really early model, it will have a number starting with M-.
There are other tell tale signs, like what kind of handbrake does it have?
Taillight positioning, high or low mounted headlights, type of instrument
cluster, and type of rearview mirrors can all be clues.

I believe that if you look at the contract number on the data plate nead the
glove box it will have the year in it. Mine two do anyway. If that don't
work, look on the differential data plates.
