Thanks for the information, all. Turns out that the Hydrovac has indeed
been installed backwards, which is something I didn't even think about when
I replaced the thing using all the 'original' (*cough*) plumbing. Just as
well I guess, because now I'll get off my ass and replace the last bit of
copper brake line which would've undoubtedly given the local motor vehicle
inspection guy have a serious coronary.

For those of you who like a bit of irony with your dinners, this 1941 CCW
will be showing up on this upcoming season of "Battlestar Galactica" along
with one of the company's HMMWV's. Kinda cool because both seem somewhat
out-of-place in a science-fiction atmosphere - but strangely both sort of
work in the overall context of the series.

(when we got the HMMWV back it was full of 9mm and .45 brass. I quite liked
that. It must've felt right at home. ;)
