Good day everyone.
My 1953 M38A1 is a fmr US Navy vehicle with the USN s/n visiable under the
several odd coats of gray paint. Question of the day is... although most of
the under side and non visiable surfaces are OD the exterior is gray.
Actually two part ?
1. Were these Navy issue 1953 era jeeps actually gray (as standard issue or
painted per unit choice)?
2. If so what would be the proper paint to use today?
