There are a lot of variables in the M35 buying and selling biz.

This truck that you showed us in the photos appears to be a W/W, which
implies that it does not have a drop-side bed. It also has a cloth cab
cover. Normally, a dropside truck will command more money, sometimes $500 or
more. The original metal hardtops, made of unobtainium, also command a
premium. Replacements in fiberglass go for more than $700. A whistling
turbo will get more money for the seller than a non-whistler. An air-shift
transfer will be worth more than the over-running clutch version. So a
good-looking well-maintained truck, such as yours, would command a slightly
lower price, if it does not have all those features.

We all must try to remember that a truck is worth what the buyer and seller
agree to. Also, East coast money is different from West coast money.
People in the red states make more money, but pay more for stuff and taxes.
It's all relative.

As for GL, "no comment."
