During my career when the MRE's came into existance, I tried them, since I
had no choice. From the looks of the contects of the Pork, Turkey & a few
others, they already looked recycled from a used Airlines Flight Bag.

I finished my 43 years in 1954 & I still can remember the look of the
contents. Eating very late & in the dark helped a little bit.

Luckily as a SR NCO the cooks would save me a Beef whenever possible.
