Another variation on the hose and mist trick ! In an opening
eg a window where there is air flow hang a sheet , towel etc and keep ti wet
, the latent heat of evaporation will cool the air ! If you can rig a frame
to support an absorbent sheet e.g.cheesecloth ,linen cotton ,towel, with the
bottom in a bowl of water , in front of a fan better still !
As for stale gas, mixing volatiles with it may help , you might try minor
carb adjustment and or backing the timing off a little to improve running .
