Hi and Happy New Year!
We have an M43 "ambulance" here, which isn't. The interior is pretty much
stripped, but is has a tag with the following info screwed to the wall:

TRUCK, COMPUTER
STANDBY, 3/4 TON
Manufactured by Detroit Arsenal Mar 1959
For
US Army Engineer Research and Development Laboratories
Fort Belvoir, Virginia

The driver's side has the spare tire mount and a "Jumper cable" receptacle
with 4 prongs.
The interior of the van body has several 110vac duplex outlets, a circuit
breaker panel and there are 3 flourescent light fixtures in the ceiling.
There is a data tag on the operation of the personnel heater.

The "ID" tag on the dash is gone.

Any information on this vehicle would be helpful.

Thanks,
Bjorn
