I think you are very confused TJ,
In the first place there is only a starboard and a larboard side of the
ship.
Larbord is the side they parked next to the pier for taking on supplies.
Only one side of the ship had a side hatch for taking on stores.

And in the second place, the port hole is just the place where you store
the wine........:-)
