Years ago I was talking to a coworker and he was telling me about his
tour in Vietnam. He was given a Thomson by a leaving GI and was told
to give it to the next guy when he went home. He did and probably
this gun was passed down to the next guy and so forth. You got to
remember the Colt 45 was official side arm at that time . I suppose
the same thing could of happened with a BAR.
