Kent,

My XM211 slows down on slight grades. Even with a newly rebuilt engine. Pulling a trailer really slows it down!

They are underpowered. However it's the low compression that allows the engine to run on gasoline down to 68 octane.

As soon as the truck downshifts on a grade I shift the trans into the F-2 position to hold the lower gear on the hill.
