I have driven several configurations motor vehicles in the last 5+ decades -

kind of like -no horse cannot be ridden, no cowboy that cannot be thrown
off - never been a vehicle that cannot be stuck -

We do not know why it was driven into ditch - given the constant threat of
roadside and car/truck bombs - and you know with tank "buttoned up" not the
best vision possible
