Re: This is why

The Bush crew has already admitted to using widespread unauthorized wire
taps to monitor overseas conversations. If they don't need to get
authorization to do that, do you think they need anything to monitor the
airwaves, this email list, etc. After all this email list stuff goes
overseas also, as do a lot of amateur radio transmissions.

I make phone calls overseas once in a while, so according the Bush, the
NSA can listen in on my conversations at will. So does that mean they
can also point a parabolic dish at my house windows and listen in on
conversations between myself and my wife and daughters?? Hey, why not??
I could be a threat right?

I am also involved in foreign commerce and I deal primarily with foreign
made equipment that most people do not understand at all. More black
marks.

If you guys don't think that we are on the "list" to monitor as a
possible "threat", then you are not listening to the news.

Indiana and Kansas apparenlty think that the MVs we own could be a
possible threat. What else do you like to do that makes you a suspect??
Collect knives? Have a subscription to a gun magazine? Wear a camo
cap once in a while? Bought more than one box of ammo in the last year?
  Own other "non-conforming" vehicles?

This is a very slipperly slope we are on right now. We don't exactly
fit in with the mainstream. To actually own an MV automatically labels
us as non-comformists. So "we" are targets.

If this makes you uncomfortable, sell your MV and buy a 2006 Beige Camry
sedan and start hanging out at Walmart and watch at least 4 hours of
mind numbing TV per night. That might take you off the list for a while.
