Considering the M16 halftrack was a combination of a halftrack and an
existing weapons platform, I don't see why yours couldn't have been one
of the ones that were converted, as apposed to rolling off the factory
floor as an M16 variant.

Unlikely, yet possible.

The title for my M16 halftrack says its a 1939. I don't think this is
correct.
