Sometimes vendors at the shows have FEDLOG disk sets you can install on your
home computer and use to look stuff up, but naturally you won't have access
to the updates etc. that Gov. agencies and contractors would. Won't matter
much for the stuff we deal with for the most part as it's usually all
pre-2000 anyway.

Just a thought - since the last part of that DLA number was "LAV", maybe
it's a cutter-bar for a LAV-25 family vehicle?
