I'll share with everyone the response I have refined for those who are
"anti-war"- whatever that means. This really shuts them up:

When I hear or see such a person or signage, I first ask, "So do you feel
any war has every solved anything?" The answer is often, no. I answer, "Oh,
you're a Racist?"

Startled and flustered, they respond, "What'd ya mean by that?"

"Well, it took a war to end slavery in the US. It took a war to end the
killing of Jews in Europe by the Nazis, the Chinese in China by the
Japanese. The LACK of war allowed 3 million Cambodians to be slaughtered,
500,000 Ruyandans, and as we speak, thousands of Sudanese." They usually
shut up and go away, head bowed.
