The ATU No 9 was part of the 'Larkspur', British radio equipment of the
60's, for both 'Radio', and 'FFR Vehicles'.

No 9 was for the C12, No 10 for the B48 and No 11 for the C13.
On a Landrover as an ffr it was front-wing-mounted in a heavier
protective steel box. The Larkspur equipment was basicaly designed for
the 'B Series vehicles'....Champ, Ferret, Pig, Saracen, Saladin etc but
also used on the Landrover, FV432 series, Abbott etc etc.
