Greetings:

I am presently restoring a 1942 GPW. I need to reconstruct the front frame
rails. Someone has cut off part of the frame to weld on a different
bumper. The bumper gussets rivet holes are present. I understand that the
angle cut on the end of the frame rail is different on a GPW comparded to a
MB. I would like to know the distances form the most foward rivet hole
(center) to the end of the frame rail(top and bottom). These distances are
different and will hopefully give me the correct angle for a GPW. There
also is a hole in the side of the foward frame rain under the bumper
gusset. Part of the hole is still there, I need to know diameter of the
hole on a GPW.

I anyone could help me with these measurements it would be greatly
appreciated. There are not GPW's locally to measure off of.

Thanks in advance
