WIDD-James (MAJ) Rice <RiceJ@silltcmd-smtp.army.mil> wisely pointed out:
>I greatly enjoy this list, but I think it is time we take it to
>a higher level. I know I have gotten some really good info off
>the list. I am also guilty of asking the "Where can I get...."
>question myself so I am not claiming innocence. Its just that I
>don't think we have scratched the surface on the potential of this
>list.

It looks like it is time to put together a mil-veh FAQ, so I jotted
down some basic questions and put them in
<http://www.skylee.com/mil-veh-faq.html> (its location and name may
change, but I'll try to let the list know first). It isn't formatted
and the questions are in no particular order yet, are poorly worded,
and have no answers, but let's see if we can flesh it out. Send me
your suggested questions (with answers if at all possible, please!)
and I'll add them to the FAQ (with your byline, unless you want to
be anonymous). With permission, I could cull some exceptional answers
from list traffic to handle a few of them, like Gale's excellent
info (if I may, Gale) about the DRMO and demiling (from
http://www.skylee.com/archives/mil-veh/0495.html and 0486.html).

Remember, lots of newbies will read it, so we'll need some intro
questions to kick off the FAQ (viz. the first question of
mil-veh-faq.html). as well as all your input. If any of you have
additional material for existing answers, send that along to me,
too. We can hash out the appropriateness of specific questions and
answers on the list. Let's see if we can't get a reasonable selection
of questions answered.
