The FAV is not a British design (although that particular model may be), but
was originally designed to compete in off-the-road type races in Baja and the
American Southwest. The military then found out that it made a good
lightweight attack vehicle.

You might try contacting Chenowth in Virginia for information. I'm sorry,
but I don't have their number. However, be prepared for them to either deny
their manufacture or anything else connected with the FAV's.

You might also pick up a copy of HOT VW'S magazine. They usually list all
the off-the-road manufacturers. I know that is how my brother built his
FAV/Dune Buggy.
