Gentlemen For what it's worth... Pick up any issue of an antique car
magazine and you will find advertisments for old car insurance, some
even say they will insure military vehicles in the ad. I've brought
antique car insurance through a local agent/broker that also owns old
cars for years. The insuring company is one of the national companies
found in any magazine.
There are a few restrictions like driving less than 2500 miles a year
and only to an event geared toward old cars, to me going for a sunday
drive IS an event geared toward my old car.
Currently my 1967 M151A1 is insured for 4500 dollars full coverage for
less than $100.00 a year, my 50 jeepster at $4500 value full coverage is
70.00 annual.
For the record I am 47, single, no kids, and back into somebody aleast
once every two years,
but not with the old ones.
