Widening the Spectrum

I have been a member of this group for 5 months & I have noticed one
thing. It seems that most of the members are only concerned about small
vehicles from WWII or Korea. Also, now that there is a big influx of
European vehicles a lot of comments are made about them.

My question is: What about the larger vehicles from WWII? The only
tracked vehicle that has been mentioned is the M29C Weasel. There are
half-tracks, tanks (light & medium), weapons carriers, high speed
tractors, & numerous other tracked vehicles.

Besides the tracked vehicles there are trucks, namely GMC, Diamond T,
Studebaker, Mack, Ward LaFrance, Kenworth & White - to only mention a
few.

If anyone is concerned about finances, sometimes you have to squeeze the
nickels & dimes or even make a trade with someone. I live on a
government disability pension & I have restored small vehicles & large
ones - the smallest being a Marine Corps mule, a 2-1/2 ton GMC & last but
not least a Federal C2 wrecker.

I think the main thing we are missing in this organization is to try to
cover the whole spectrum of military vehicles. There are fellows that
might join in if we would not spend so much time nit-picking about
certain vehicles. Has anyone ever considered having ads by
classification - 1/4 ton to 10 ton, tracked vehicles, military
memorabilia? I'm not trying to create any problem - this is just a
suggestion. Thanks.
