As I understand it, most the vehicles were scheduled for target practice.
Yet, some were in sufficiently good shape to be driven off the base!
Sad story, and many people were involved. What will be interesting to see is
the level of proof the accused will need to provided to substantiate the
claim that they thought they were buying legal vehicles. For instance, I have
one title for the 5 vehicles I own. If somebody wanted to make trouble, I
think I would have a hard time convincing a sympathetic judge/jury that the
O.D. vehicle with data plates on it was legitimately mine. That's where MVPA
and others come into play.
