A bill currently in the state legislature, similar to the law passed in TEXAS
last year, will permit a flat rate fee for registration of former military
vehicles, would eliminate the requirement for a former military vehicle to
display a license plate, and would allow registration based upon the MILITARY
registration number. The bill will not only allow, but encourage/require the
former military vehicle to display markings similar to those placed upon the
vehicle during its period of use by the national government. OKLAHOMA MV
owners are encouraged to contact their representatives and urge them to
