My buddy and I were looking into buying an m-34 for about 450$ It
hasn't been run in about oh... 20 years or so. It's fairly rusted, but
looks like we could fix it up. It has an international V8. We havn't
gotten a chance to look inside the engine, but it still has water and
oil in it. Do you think it has a chance of still running? (the engine
is rusty, but not falling apart or anything).
Also, if anyone has any pictures or info on the M-34, could you
please share? I've been looking ALL over the web for info on it, but as
far as I can tell, the M-34 doesn't exist. Maybe the fellow we are
planning on buying it from is wrong, but he seemed fairly knowledgeable.
I'm sorry, but I do not know what year it is.
This guy also has a pair of 6x6's and another big dump truck style
truck (all this info is stuff my friend and I have been figuring out).
He also has a flatbed cargo truck with a HUGE winch on the back. There
is a rear facing seat next to the winch with a couple of levers and
such. It appears like the winch powers itself off of the engine as it
is attached to the drive shaft, and it has a clutch and throttle. Each
one of the above trucks is going for about 300-500 each! If you are
interested, write me and I can get you in touch with him. He lives
about 30 mins south of San Luis Obispo CA, or about one hour from Santa
Barbara.

We also found two "1950 Willys military style jeeps." We havn't gone
to look at them yet, but he is selling both for 500 (one parts car w/o
engine, one with engine but doesn't work). We are not sure which of the
two deals to go with yet. I'm thinking it's an M38, but I have not gone
to see it yet. CAn't wait till saturday!

Thanks,
Sean
