Can't agree with you on that one Todd. My belief (Supported by the writings
of Lloyd
White) is that the registration #s were blue drab from factory until nearly
the end of the war. May have changed very late in 1944 but probably not until
1945. My 41 MB, 44 GPW, and 44 MB all have original BlueDrab numbers
surviving. In the case of the 44 MB It can clearly be seen that the numbers
were originally blue drab and were then repainted 3 different times in white.
