I, and others I know, have been using 2 part epoxy primer for years. Brushed
or sprayed it work like nothing else I have ever used. Pittsburg DTR or
DuPont 37P, if I recall correctly, are both good. There also is a 3 part
epoxy where the third part is powdered zinc, crane people use it. However,
as wonderful as the epoxy primer is, I have few good words for epoxy top coats.
