M38A1 RESTORATION. HELP!

This is my first restoration and I am Knee Deep. My engine was stripped and
made 12 volt, Civ carb fuel pump distr. Have priced engine parts piece by
piece and it will take years to afford them. Looking for a complete engine
or used parts that can be rebuilt. Dont want to spend enough to put someones
kids through college though. Have a carb, alternator and starter 12 volt
that came off this jeep will trade or sell for any M38A1 parts I can get.
Also is there anyone near Worcester Ma that has an M38A1 that I can come
look at to see what I should be doing. I have pictures but a real one to
look at would help. Would someone possible even let me take a picture of the
engine ect.
