Welcome to So. California!!

Here are a couple of ideas:

1. The best one was Surplus City, in Sun Valley for many years. They just
moved to Northern Cal, finally got fed up with LA.

2. Antelope Valley Equipment is in Lancaster, CA, about an hour plus drive
from Pasadena. Good source for all sorts of truck parts and related gear.
Phone 800 521 8518.

3. Ordnance Unlimited in Canoga Park, CA (45 min or so from Pasadena) has
a big selection of parts, but not much to look at at their warehouse.
Call Dean at 818 700 2905.

4. Brians Military Jeeps in Lake Forest, CA (2 hrs from Pasadena) has a
lot of rare WWII militaria and parts. Call 714 770 2259.

5. There are several large military property disposal sites in the LA
area including Long Beach and Barstow CA. This is where the government
sells off the surplus and there are often interesting things to see if you
have the time on a weekday. See the DRMS web page for details.

5. Finally, its worth the ride to the Patton Museum in India CA (about 2
1/2 hrs east on I10). This is on the site of the early WWII tank training
grounds where Patton worked out tactics later used in Europe. BTW, Patton
was from Pasadena.

Hope you have a good visit and get a chance to visit some cool places.
