A cargo bed for a CCKW is a tough item assuming you are talking the CCKW-353
(long wheelbase chassis). I looked for 10 years and finally bought one in
France and paid $1000 for it delivered to the next state over from me. The US
givmint got rid of those trucks in 1956. The farmers etc that bought them took
the bodies off and left them in the fields/woods or junked them.

They also had wooden floored bodies and totally wooden bodies (metal to help
the structure). Most of those would be a pile of dust by now unless someone had
keept one inside (unlikely).

A temporary solution is to use an M35 body. It is the same length, but a little
(8") wider. I did this until I found the right one. Those are more readily
available.

Hope this helps
Steve
