FYI: The MX-6707/VRC is a combined antenna base and antenna loading
(matching) unit which can be locally tuned using the controls on its
bottom, or remotely tuned by the associated radio set. It uses mast
sections AS-1730 and AT-1095, 1 each. This antenna setup was used with
the vehicular installations of AN/PRC-25 and 77, and possibly others.
Fair Radio Sales in Lima, OH sells the MX-6707 for $59.50, used, less
the mounting bracket, and the mast sections for $14.00 each, also used.
