I just bought a Willys MB Serial # 351785 Delivered 7-17-44 which had been
used for the last while as a hunting vehicle in middle Georgia (USA). While
looking at the paint (all 5-10 coats) it looks like one of the lower (maybe
the lowest) layer is light blue. Was it possibly an air force jeep? It
came from east of Macon, Ga. which is very near Robbins Air Force Base. If
so, does anyone know if these were delivered with different features than
the Army jeeps?
