I am currently looking at a M-561 "gamma goat" that has all the axels,
suspension, etc. it is missing wheels, transaxle, engine and the engine lid
is hammered. all the interior peices are eithier gone or dead, trailer has
no canvas or the frame for them. drain plugs are missing and there is a
forklift puncture in the front hull (local aluminum welding co says it's an
easy "looks like it never happened" fix.
I want it. can someone give me an idea of what it's worth? (they are asking
1500, this seems steep to several local marines i have spoken with) and
where I can find parts? I stumbled on it in a wrecking yard, and I'm hooked
:) ... Is there someone on this list who has one?
