[MV] DUKWs (and other MVs) at Branson, MO, USA

This time of year in the US, people start thinking about vacations. For
those who have an interest in MVs but also have to please the wife and kids,
I have a suggestion.

South of Springfield, MO, USA, is the town of Branson. Many of you have
probably heard of it as the "up-and-coming country music capital of the
USA." In addition to all the music and comedy shows (there ARE lost of
them) and all the theme parks (like Silver Dollar City-a good time for any
history buff) and the area lakes (great fishing and camping!), there are two
attractions for MV people. In Branson itself are two tour businesses that
offer rides in DUKWs. The rides DO include time afloat on a lake; any
DUKW-man should love it (even if they aren't still OD), and the whole family
will, too. One of the tours includes a visit to a private MV collection
which includes trucks, ambulances, a gamma-goat, a half-track (supposedly
the one used in the TV show "Rat Patrol"), and others. You don't get to
really explore on your own, but it's a fun way to see the vehicles. And
even the kids won't mind.

FYI; I sure have no interest in this other than as info for you all, but I
discovered this last year, and I enjoyed myself. If you go, have a great time!
