1) I'm in the process of re-doing the brakes on my '43 Federal truck.
I'm replacing the wheel cylinders and brake shoe linings. What about
the steel brake lines themselves? Do these normally get corroded or
rust through? Should I replace them or simply flush them out?

2) A new master cylinder (current one on truck has been rebuilt several
times and appears beyond "honing and a new cup") is over $200. Has
anyone had any experience with getting cylinders re-sleeved? Hemmings
Motor News carries several advertisements for companies that
re-sleeve/rebuild brake cylinders. Can anyone recommend one of these in
the Virginia/Carolina area?

3) While I'm at it; I cannot find a decent carburetor to replace the
one on my JXD Hercules engine (same truck). Can anyone recommend a
reputable (and affordable) company that can rebuild mine? What is the
approximate cost?

4) Finally, does anyone out there make replacement tilt-out windshield
frames? Thanks for the help.
