Hello All,

On my M38A1, ser# 17490, there are two lines to air cleaner. One
goes to the top of the master cylinder, the other I followed along the fuel
line to behind the rear step for the rear seat. There the former owner
removed both lines, I figure that both from the looks went to the fuel tank.
Also there was a control removed about three inches right from the starter
switch, the space has a round hole and where the plaque was is about 1'' X 1
1/2''. Also the plug in the right of the hood still remains. My question is
this the remients of a fording kit or just another small change to the style
of the jeep over the years? My other M38A1 has two plugs where the lines go
into the air filter, a view plug in the top of the master cylinder,no line
that follows the fuel line, and has a plug for the hole in the dash.
