I can tell you that each MV which is in duty at the German
Bundeswehr stands in a garage. If it is a Jeep (Sorry,
every little 4x4 vehicle is called a Jeep in Germany), a
truck or a tank, each vehicle has a place in a garage or
as a minimum a place under a roof.
MVs are made to work under hard conditions, but they are
not made to stand in the rain and snow for years.
(Hail to the man who lives in sunny California!)
So my NSU Kettenkrad stands in the garage, like the
LEOPARD tanks and other MVs.
